Youth Confirmation Class  

Luther’s Small Catechism serves as the basis for our instruction.  Luther wrote the Catechism in such   a way that the head of the household could lead and teach his children.  The Catechism is laid out in a question and answer format.  A question is asked, Scripture passages are cited which speak to the question and from Scripture an answer is given. 

The pattern of looking to God’s Word for answers and guidance each and every moment of our lives is one of the dearest pieces of instruction we can impart to our children.  It is a true for our confirmands in 7^thand 8^thgrade and throughout ones life. 

It is a privilege to instruct our children in the basic truths of our Christian faith and through it to allow God to lay a firm foundation of faith.  Catechsim instruction takes place over the course of two years as we study together the six chief parts of the Christian faith.  Formal instruction begins on Sunday, September 18^th at 1:30 PM.  For more information, call 781-8673.
