Whitewater Rafting Trip Details

Whitewater Rafting on the Nantahala River
Nature Retreat and Reflection: Friday and Saturday, September 17th and 18th

 
Where: @ 15 miles west of Bryson City, North Carolina (@ 3 and ½ hours away)
 
What: a night of camping, fun, time for faith building on the river side, fellowship and a day of whitewater rafting on the Nantahala River
 
Cost: $40/per person ($20 is for the rental of the equipment for canoeing, the remaining $20 will be for transportation and camping)
 
Why: It’s something the group has asked that we do for quite some time and it will give us all an opportunity to get away from the busyness of school and other activities for a day and a half and enjoy our fellowship with one another in a Christian manner and context.
 
Who: you and a friend (please note that for this trip, you’ll need to pay $20 in advance to secure your spot. The reason being is that we have to reserve a campsite in advance as well as reserve the proper number of canoes. This means that if you say you are coming, we will reserve a spot for you. But if you decide last minute you would rather not come, we will keep your deposit.)
What else: In an effort to get everyone involved in the planning, we will need the following items for our trip.  Please take a look at the list and if you’re coming, let us know what items you will bring for the group:

Bottled water(48 bottles)

Soda

Sandwich meat (ham or turkey)

Sandwich bread (4 loaves)

PB and J

Camp cooking supplies

4 working flashlights

First Aid Kit (Pastor D)

Hot dogs

Hot dog buns

Cheese slices
