Pastor & Staff

Pastor Joseph Lindloff began his service at Hope in the summer of 2016. Joseph Lindloff attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary (class of ’08), Martin Luther College, and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. Joe served his vicar year at Fount of Life Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, CO.

In his free time he enjoys working on houses, remodeling, and doing other house projects. He is passionate about sharing Jesus and God's Word with others.

Pastor Lindloff’s wife, Julie (Boggs), attended Luther Preparatory School and Martin Luther College. She began her teaching ministry in 2011 at St. John’s in Antigua for one year, and then taught 2nd grade and music at Atonement Lutheran School in Milwaukee for 2 years. This past year Julie served as the 3rd grade teacher at Siloah in Milwaukee and is now expecting the Lindloffs’ first child. Julie enjoys music, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Tillie Colmery (maiden name, Bergmeier) is the Administrative Assistant at Hope Lutheran Church. She was hired in June 2015 to assist with printing bulletins, answering phones, and other administrative duties. Before moving to Columbia, Tillie grew up in Michigan, studied art at Wisconsin Lutheran College, and has been living in Rock Hill, SC for the past couple of years, where she met her husband, Michael.

Tillie and Mikey spend their free time exploring the Columbia area and hanging out with their three cats, Mona, Frida and Splat. She also enjoys playing guitar and cross stitching, while Mikey enjoys making gourmet pizzas at Mellow Mushroom and tattoing in home.
