This Sunday @9:30am : Jonah: The Reluctant Prophet Chapter 4- Pouting

Picture this: Hundreds of new faces walked into Hope this morning. We've never met them before, and yes they had all lived terrible lives, but they came here confessing their sins to the God, asking him for forgiveness, and they are converted to saving faith! These are people who didn't know the true God and yet now they do. What would your reaction be to God forgiving these "sinners". I would like to say that we'd be overjoyed and excited about the miracle that God worked in their lives! But that's not Jonah's response to God's grace to, not hundreds, but thousands of "sinners" who turned from their idols to the true God. In fact, Jonah hated this so much that he wanted to die! Sound crazy? Come for Adult Bible study in the sanctuary at 9:45 to see for yourself how Jonah, "The Reluctant Prophet", pouts because of the grace of God.
