Q: When is Worship?

A: Worship is every Thursday night at 7:00 pm and Sunday mornings at 10:30 am

Q: What should I wear?

A: Hope does not have a “dress code”. On any given Sunday, you may see running shoes and high heels, jeans and suits, open collars and ties. When a person dresses out of love for Jesus, the choice of dress - whether casual or more formal, is acceptable to God.

Q: What do you offer for kids?

A: At Hope we seek to help families grow together and in God's Word. When parents and caregivers are active in their own faith, kids learn from them. In every worship service we include "Children's Lessons" taught by Pastor Joe or Staff Minister Andrew. These Gospel centered messages are hands on, practical, and taught on a kid's level. In addition, we provide a fully staffed nursery that can be utilized (if necessary) and Sunday School between services during the school year. We also have youth ministries (Hope Kids, Pioneers, youth group) for all ages.

Q: What do you offer for adults?

A: We believe that the only way to live your faith is to be in God's Word. Therefore, we offer three worship services each week, with an adult Bible study at 9:45 am on Sundays during the school year. We also have a year-round men’s Bible study on Monday nights at 7:00 pm and a ladies Bible study on Wednesdays at 10:00 am during the school year. We also offer “growth groups”. These growth groups are Bible studies that allow individuals to ask questions, share experiences, and strengthen each other. They also provide a wonderful setting to build deeper relationships with other Christians. Feel free to reach out to staff to be placed in a growth group.

We also offer numerous adult fellowship groups that meet throughout the year. These include Women of Hope and Young Pros, just to name a few. If you are interested in upcoming events, please go to our calendar or reach out to Staff Minister Andrew.

Q: What is the story about Hope Lutheran?

A: Since 1971, Hope has been a church dedicated to serving and glorifying God by sharing the sure hope of heaven with one another, with the people in our community and with the world. This is the certain hope that is brought to us by God through his Word and sacraments. Hope is a Christian church that has been serving the people in the Midlands for over 50 years, and we look forward to the opportunity to serve you!
