Jonah: The Reluctant Prophet- Preaching

Preaching can be very powerful, can't it? When you step into the house of God on a Sunday, the central point of every service is what we call the sermon- the message of Christ brough to you in the Word of God, for us to acknowledge our sins and find healing and comfort in the promises and love of our crucified and risen Savior. We crave that healing and the direction of the LORD himself. Did Jonah? Did the Ninevites? Jonah didn't initally want to go to Ninevah and the Ninevites didn't seem to eager to change their ways either. This morning we now see a disheveled Jonah march into the hornet's nest of Ninevah and preach to them "40 more days and Ninevah will be destroyed!" How is the message recieved?
